Poster Design - CASPIAN @ Brooklyn Bazaar - I wish I'd had seen this gig...
So, a good friend of mine used to live in New York and while reminiscing he set me a design challenge - he wanted me to capture a gig that unfortunately he never had a chance to attend while living there. He asked me to come up with a suitable design that evokes the aesthetic of the band and the themes they explore. After a bit of research, a load of immersive listening and some concept sketches, this is the resulting work - designed as a A2 band poster.

Use of Generative AI - Photoshop (beta)
AI is a tricky subject... but it's important to try things out and see how you can incorporate them into your design thinking. This was my first attempt at asking Adobe FireFly to 'create' something, in this case, turning an aircraft carrier into a space craft. The results are ok when taken in context of the whole design but wouldn't win any prizes as a standalone piece of work. Before and after below if you are interested.
